Derbyshire County Council maintain public footpaths and rights of way across Derbyshire and will deal with problems including obstructions, illegal signage and unauthorised usage.
As a District Council, our role is to deal with application for diversion (.pdf | 365kb) in relation to the Town and Country Planning Act. Both NEDDC and DCC are able to deal with diversions and extinguishments under the Highways Act.
