Carbon Management in Business

Carbon management is becoming increasingly important. After all, businesses have significant carbon emissions impact and a key role to reduce emissions to help meet the government’s Net Zero target by 2050.
There are six key reasons why it makes sense for SMEs to manage their carbon:

- Improves energy efficiency
- Reduces waste
- Signals to customers that they’re a business that cares
- Helps to comply with environmental legislation
- Improves competitiveness including through the tendering process
It’s a complex area and there is SO much to learn; including the appropriate terminology! Do you undertake carbon accounting? Do you know the difference between Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, and how to measure and manage them? Have you closed the accuracy gap within your business?
Our one-day Carbon Management in Business workshop will provide a deep learning experience, giving you the skills and resources needed to reduce carbon use in your business. The workshop is delivered by academics and sustainability experts from NTU's Nottingham Business School who will share their practice-based expertise and knowledge.
