A Morton resident has paid a £100 Fixed Penalty Notice after being caught littering.
The offender was witnessed illegally depositing a cigarette butt from their vehicle by a North East Derbyshire District Council Enforcement Officer in June.
We will issue a £150 penalty notice (reduced to £100 if paid within 10 days) to anyone witnessed littering. The fixed penalty is an alternative to being taken to court.
