Oncourse

What is it?

Oncourse is the latest technology to be used for gymnastics/trampolining lessons. By accessing the internet-based HomePortal, parents/guardians are able to view all information relating to their child’s gymnastics/ trampolining lessons.

How do I register/ access the HomePortal?

You must first of all register your details with the online portal.

If you experience problems trying to register, then please check the details that the leisure centre has for you and your child at reception. In order to register you need to make sure the centre has the correct email address, mobile number and date of birth for your child. These can be checked and updated at reception at any time.

What information will it provide?

Oncourse will allow you to track your child’s progress as they participate in the gymnastics/trampolining course. It will show you feedback on:

  • Child’s performance against the key competencies and skills needed for each gymnastics/trampolining level.
  • Provide a rating from the coach to say how your child is progressing with this skill. For example: Attempted/needs practice/pass.
  • Provide a percentage rating showing the amount of progression on that gymnastics/trampolining level.

How does my child get rewarded and progress?

When your child has completed all the key competencies and skills for their gymnastics/trampolining level and the percentage level reads 100%; you will be sent a notification email to say that they have achieved an award which can be purchased from reception.

If your child needs to move class in order to progress, you will be sent a notification email detailing the other classes that are available for your child to move in to. You can then choose a class that suits you.

How do I pay for the lessons?

All lessons are paid for by direct debit of £22.50 Tiny Tumblers/ Junior Gymnastics or £25.50 Advanced Gymnastics per month. The payment will be taken on the 1st of every month. Non-payment of lessons could result in you losing your place.

What happens if my child is ill?

Lessons can be frozen for a minimum of four weeks. Short-term illness, holidays and other activities cannot be refunded.

How long are the terms?

There are no longer any terms, lessons will be delivered over a continuous 47 week block with breaks at Easter, Summer and Christmas.
