What is the Citizen's Panel?

The Citizen's Panel consists of approximately 500 local residents who have agreed to give us their views and opinions on important local issues.

The panel helps us to:

  • identify key issues within the community
  • reduce unnecessary consultation and duplication
  • evaluate how we provide our services
  • transform services in the future

How often do members participate?

The Panel receive approximately four questionnaire surveys a year. These take on average 10 minutes each, can be sent via Freepost, of filled in online.

Panel members can also choose to take part in consultation meetings, interviews and telephone surveys.

How do I receive feedback on issues?

The Panel receives regular feedback on any issues we have asked about in a newsletter called Viewpoint. Viewpoint - Nov 2023
